Eddie Hearn self-isolating after touching Anthony Joshua's penis 5 days after boxer met Prince C

BOXING promoter Eddie Hearn is reportedly at home in self-isolation after learning that Anthony Joshua may have contracted coronavirus meeting Prince Charles earlier this month.

According to a source, Hearn, who heads up Matchroom Boxing and promotes world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, was horrified to learn that Joshua might have contracted COVID-19 (commonly referred to as coronavirus) meeting Prince Charles, who tested positive for the virus on Wednesday morning.

The promoter feared not only for his charge and his upcoming title defence against Kubrat Pulev on 20 June, but also for himself, having "accidentally" touched the boxer's penis just five days after the encounter with Prince Charles at this year's Commonwealth Day service.

Soon after learning the news, Hearn placed himself into voluntary self-isolation for at least 21 days to avoid potentially spreading the virus to anyone else, should he be carrying it.

Speaking to Kugan Cassius of iFL TV via video link from his home in Essex, Hearn said:

"I put myself into quarantine pretty much straight after hearing about Prince Charles on the news, because I'm always in close contact with Anthony. Really close.

"In fact, about five days after he met with Prince Charles, there was an incident that I won't get into, where I accidentally touched his d***.

"It wasn't an intentional thing. He was getting changed after a workout, I'm trying to get him to sign a promotional contract for an energy drink brand and I drop my pen. I go to pick it up, but my lips end up brushing the left side of his c***. That's all.

"Actually, come to think of it, it was the right side... No, it was the right side when I was bending down to get the pen, then the left side on the way back up. And a similar thing happened last week but I wont bore you with the details.

"Anyway, neither Anthony or myself have tested positive for coronavirus, but I think it's for the best that I self-isolate for a while, just in case I spread it to anyone else or accidentally touch him again."
