COVID-19: Floyd Mayweather learning to read while self-isolating
According to reports, boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr is using his time in self-isolation due to coronavirus to conquer the only opponent he's so far failed to overcome: a book.
The undefeated, former five division world champion retired from professional boxing after defeating UFC's Conor McGregor back in 2017 and had been teasing a potential comeback this year until the coronavirus pandemic put every major sport on hold for the foreseeable future.
With millions of people across the world self-isolating to prevent spreading the deadly virus, most binge-watching Netflix or Disney Plus, Mayweather reportedly using the time to better himself and finally learning to read.
A source claims that in just one week, the 43-year-old superstar has reached an impressive sixth grade reading level with some serious hard work and dedication.
