Conor McGregor makes weight for UFC 254 post-fight brawl
Updated: Oct 25, 2020
Former two weight UFC champion Conor McGregor made the lightweight limit ahead of UFC 254 in Abu Dhabi this evening, despite not being featured anywhere on the card.
According to a source, the 'Champ Champ' has been training in secret for months with a view to invading the arena at UFC's 'Fight Island' after the main bout between lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and challenger Justin Gaethje has concluded, for a UFC 229-style brawl with Khabib and his team.
But, ever the professional, McGregor wants a fair fight when he storms the octagon for round 2 of the most infamous post-fight brawl in UFC history. So the Irish superstar conducted his own weigh-in on his yacht, currently docked a couple of miles away from Fight Island in a covert location, and apparently weighed in right on the 155 lb limit. We're in for some night, fight fans.
