Amir Khan KO'd by COVID jab, recovering well

Former world champion boxer Amir Khan is said to be "recovering well" after being knocked out cold by a jab earlier today.

The Bolton boxer had his first dose of a vaccine for COVID-19 this morning, and despite initially dealing with the stiff jab administered by a local nurse, Khan quickly lost consciousness and was out for the count.

Khan, still chasing a dream fight with Manny Pacquiao or Floyd Mayweather Jr despite being nowhere near world level for at least five years, is recovering well in hospital and hopes to be back in action for round two of the vaccine within the next month.
