Amir Khan confirms venue for Mayweather/Pacquiao double-header

British boxer Amir Khan has confirmed he'll fight both Floyd Mayweather Jr and Manny Pacquiao in a wild, action-packed night at the Bolton One Health & Leisure Centre on 21st November.

Fresh from his KO victory of the overmatched Billy Dib in Saudi Arabia, the former world champion claims the all-time greats have signed up to fight Khan in his hometown of Bolton, on the same night no less.

"I've been chasing both of these fights for years and I can't believe they're finally happening, on the same night, in my hometown of Bolton", said Khan.

"Floyd and Manny have both signed contracts already - we're just working out some final kinks, like who's going to fight me first, how many seats we can fit in the main sports hall, things like that. We've also agreed that I'm the A-side, so as far as purses go it'll be a 60-20-20 split in my favour.

"It's a bit of a shame we have to hold the fights on a Thursday night but Bolton School have a girls' netball tournament on that weekend so it's the best we could do."
