AMAZING! Tyson Fury just gave this homeless man a 10% discount for his Gypsy King merch site
The WBC heavyweight champion of the world was spotted earlier today giving a homeless man the gift of a lifetime.
Fury, arguably the current ruler of the heavyweight division after dismantling Deontay Wilder in 2020, is known as much for his charitable deeds as he is for his boxing accolades.
In fact, the British fighter famously said before his first bout with Wilder in 2018 that he would be donating his entire purse of £7million to charity, an unprecedented act of magnanimity in a sport plagued by money-chasing and corruption.
And now, the self-proclaimed people's champion has been spotted handing out discount vouchers to those in need for his aptly named official merchandise shop, tysonfuryofficialmerchandise.com, which has hundreds and hundreds of products dedicated to the man himself, including t-shirts with his oft-quoted and legally trademarked phrase, 'you big dosser'.
When asked by local Daily Mail photographer Alan Salter why he was giving as much as 10% off his goods, Fury responded: "I don't really have much use for the money.
"I'm not interested in becoming a billionaire. Maybe a multi-millionaire; I'm not greedy. If I can help some poor soul by putting an official Gypsy King t-shirt on his back for £18 instead of £20 or £22.50 instead of £25, shipping not included, then I'd be a dosser if I didn't do it."
"This is what being the people's champion is about. Giving back to the community in any way you can. I might even do a "buy one get one free" promotion when I've got enough for a house in Beverly Hills."
